What the site does not do

• It does not ask you for any personal information. There is no form anywhere on the site — corrections come by email, as explained on the contact page.
• It has no user accounts, no logins and no profiles.
• It shows no advertising and contains no advertising or affiliate trackers.
• It does not sell, rent or share data with data brokers.
• It loads no external fonts, images or scripts beyond the analytics described below; the stylesheet is served from this domain.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to measure how many people visit and which pages they read. This is the only third-party service running on the site, and it does set cookies in your browser.

What it records is standard aggregate web analytics: the pages viewed, the approximate time spent, the referring site or search engine, the country or region derived from your IP address, and general device and browser information. It does not record your name, your email address or anything you type, because there is nothing on this site to type into. Google Analytics 4 does not log full IP addresses, and no attempt is made — or would be possible — to identify individual readers from this data.

The data is processed by Google under its own terms as an analytics provider. If you would rather not be counted, any of the following works: the browser add-on Google publishes at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, a tracking-blocker extension, your browser's built-in tracking protection, or simply blocking cookies for this domain. Nothing on the site breaks if you do — every page is plain HTML and works with all scripts disabled.

Server logs

Like any website, this one is served by a host that keeps standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent — for security and operational purposes. These are ordinary technical records, kept briefly, and are not combined with analytics data or used to build any profile of a reader.

Email

If you write to hello@mustapha.org, your message and address sit in a mailbox until the correspondence is finished. Messages are not added to any mailing list, and there is no newsletter to be added to. If you send us a correction and would like a credit on the page, say so; otherwise corrections are applied without naming the sender.

Children

The site is a general reference and is not directed at children, and it collects nothing that could identify a reader of any age.

Changes

If the site's use of analytics or any other third-party service changes, this page will be updated to say so. It is the single place where that information is kept, and it is written to be accurate rather than reassuring.
