What we are glad to receive

• Factual corrections. Dates, places, titles, transliterations, career details. If something on a page is wrong, the fastest fix is an email naming the page and the error.
• Notable bearers we have missed. Athletes, scholars, artists and public figures named Mustapha in any spelling. Please include enough detail for us to verify independently — full name, dates, country, and what they are known for.
• Regional detail on spellings and nicknames. The rare spellings and nicknames pages are built from patterns rather than from a database, and first-hand knowledge of how the name is written and shortened in a particular country is genuinely useful.
• Questions the site does not answer. If you came looking for something and did not find it, that is a gap worth knowing about; several existing pages started as questions from readers.

How submissions are handled

Every message is read. Corrections are checked against sources before anything changes, and a page is updated only when the correction can be verified — so a fix may take longer than it seems it should, and occasionally we will write back to ask where a claim comes from rather than making the change.

What we cannot help with

This is a reference site about a name, not an agency or a directory. We cannot pass messages to any of the people profiled here, confirm whether a particular individual is related to another, carry out genealogical research on request, or advise on legal name changes — which are governed by the law of the country you live in and by nothing we could tell you.

We do not sell links, publish sponsored posts, or accept paid placements in any list on this site. Requests of that kind are not answered.
